Our History
Founded in 1985, Colorado Heart Rescue began as one of Colorado’s earliest providers of software and hardware solutions for dental offices. We represented industry pioneers such as K-Comp and DataTrac, helping dentists modernize their practices with reliable computer systems, charting tools, and workflow automation. We also supported orthodontists with specialized software and practice-management solutions designed for high-volume, detail-driven clinical environments.
As the dental software industry consolidated, we expanded our focus to the clinical operatory itself—bringing technology, ergonomics, and safety equipment directly into the hands of providers. Over the years, we introduced dental teams to:
- AEDs and emergency readiness equipment
- Vital signs and anesthesia monitors
- Ergonomic seating for dentists and assistants
- Dental microscopes and advanced visualization tools
Our partnership with Seiler Instruments marked a major milestone, allowing us to bring high-quality surgical microscopes to dental practitioners across Colorado. That relationship led to one of our most meaningful innovations: the development of a 3-D dental microscope that enables clinicians to work in a fully upright posture.
This breakthrough dramatically reduces neck and shoulder strain—helping dentists protect their long-term health while improving clinical precision.
Today, these microscopes are offered through our affiliate, Dentascope, continuing our commitment to ergonomic, clinician-centered technology
