A flashing green STATUS light indicates\n      system is operational.\n    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n    \u003cp\u003e\n      The samaritan PAD prompts you visually and audibly with clear, calm\n      instructions - starting with \"Adult Patient\" if equipped for adult\n      Pad-Pak™, and \"Child Patient\" if equipped with pediatric-pak™. Other\n      prompts instruct users throughout the rescue process, while reminding\n      users to \"call for medical assistance.\" The system then guides the user\n      through pad application to shock delivery if required.\n    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n    \u003cp\u003e\n      Electrode pads are contained in an innovative Pad-Pak™ or Pediatric-Pak™\n      which are accessible by pulling the green tab.\n    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n    \u003cp\u003e\n      Pads are accessible with the unit in the storage case (supplied with\n      each unit).\n    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n    \u003cp\u003e\n      The Adult (Gray) Pad-Pak™ is for patients \u0026gt;8 years \u0026amp; 55 lbs.\n      The Pediatric-Pak™ (Pink) is for patients 1-8 years or under 55 lbs.\n    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n    \u003cp\u003e\n      When electrode pads are applied, the system automatically assesses the\n      patient to determine if a shock is required.
