While watching the American Heart Association video on large screen projection, your staff will practice while watching. This adds to the enjoyment and the learning experience. Our ultra bright projector provides an excellent image for greater audio/visual impact. In addition, we pause to make sure each one knows not just the WHATS, but the WHYS!
From the Beginning to the End
The Zoll AED Plus lays out the whole rescue in pictures, voice and text prompts. From the first thing to do when you get on the scene, to checking the patient to administering defibrillation and doing CPR, while the AED Plus gives feedback on compression and rate. The AED Plus comes complete with a new, simplified one-piece electrode, consumer batteries, carrying and CD manual. It is small, light weight and is cost effective over the life of the unit. It is PC-compatible for medical control, ECG and voice recording. The Zoll AED Plus comes complete and patient ready with the Manufacturers 5 Year Warranty.
Quality Equipment
We use an actual ZOLL AED Plus (not a trainer) to accurately demonstrate the role of the AED in the rescue operation. Our findings are that the AED portion of the general CPR training is lacking in AED skills. Most, when queried afterward are still not certain about pad placement, when to utilize an AED or it's true value. We make sure all appreciate the vital role of the AED.
Customized Training
We conduct a pre-course interview so we can customize your training in the following ways:
- What are the most likely type of emergencies your staff could face?
- Assessing your current equipment on hand (AED, Face mask, Bag Mask, Gloves, etc) and integrating them into the training sessions so your staff is oriented to using their new-found skills in your environment
- Determining the physical limitations of your staff. If some have knee problems or back pain, we can arrange for them to use a table rather than work on the floor.
- Individualized training—each student has a personality and abilities and we take all these into consideration to help each one qualify.
